In analogy to white light, White Noise contains all frequences and with this, the highest measurement of information. Events are independent and randomly distributed. White Noise is a combination of all different frequencies of sounds. like 20,000 tones all playing at the same time.

White Noise contains all frequences, it is often used to 'mask' other sounds. This project is an approach towards white noise while staying in the context of additive understanding. As an experiment, we blended short loops made from movie soundtracks. Film is mainly a visual medium, but in the chosen movies, sound evokes additional emotions, and provide the visual expression. Once the sounds can be intense and threatening, then they might be weak or harmonizing. By doing a 'rollover' on the various filmtags, the sound-loops from the different movies blend together. This way it becomes virtually impossible to filter out the unique sound loops or relate them to their corresponding movie.

The movie selection is intuitive and based on personal preference.
